I'm a musician. I write songs, record them playing all the instruments and singing, then tour to support them. For the past couple of years I've been working as a "DJ" for a local karaoke bar, which is kind of a conflict of interest for all the music schooling I did in grade school and college. Well, I'm nerdy. I'm into anime, video games, and such. I'm also pretty smart, every one I know comes looking to me to answer their questions. Which feels nice, but gets pretty tedious.

Everything's pretty much the same. I'm an English major minoring in Women's Studies at LSUA. After I graduate in Dec. '09, I want to move to New Orleans and get my MA in Creative Writing. From there, anybody's guess is as good as mine.

My two year old, Emma, is so smart, it's crazy. Seriously. Borderline mad-scientist smart. She can already strum my a guitar the right way and she holds the frett board, knowing you do something with it, but her hands are too small to do anything. Oh well.... all in due time.

Aside from Emma, my biggest love is music, hands-down. After seeing a few live shows in New Orleans, I got hooked on live music. The Old 97's and Drive-by Truckers are my favorite, but I love the whole alt-country/blues/rock/roots/americana scene. Funnily enough, I don't like regular country music at all. In any case, I'm appreciative of most any music mostly because I play the guitar and own three. I know how hard it is to make "good" music, so I respect anyone willing to give it a go and do what they love.

I generally don't believe anyone can be summarized into a small white box with words but here goes. I grew up in small town in North Louisiana and went to a small private school. I've always felt a connection with the underdog. I'm interested the unique. I think weird is sexy.

I had a dramatic life changing events that happened to me in my early 20's which drastically changed my political and religious views. I was yanked out of college and sent to Iraq to fight an unjust war over some oil. Made me a better person.

I'm very witty and my comedic style is satire and word play in the form of Colbert South Park or The Daily Show. I can take a joke and I can dish them out. I don't get my feelings hurt. I don't think anything is out of bounds when it comes to comedy. I sometimes say things for shock value.

Music taste is important to me. I'm kind of a music snob. I like classic rock and the new indie rock. Mainly I'm interested in the talented lyricist of the world. Thom Yorke, Jim Morrison, John Lennon. I'm very open minded, I don't judge but I hate people who do, which makes me a hypocrite. I've changed my perception on too many things to judge. Perception. I love that. It may be the best of things.

I strongly believe that All You Need Is Love. I'm caring and thoughtful almost to a fault. Many times I've been told that I put others in front of myself too much.

Here is a big issue that I hate to bring up but it may be important to you but not me so I'm going to be upfront. I'm not religious. My dad was a baptist deacon but I am a non-believer now. All religions are the same so none are right. Let me put it this way. The way you feel about religions other than yours (say Scientology) is how i feel about yours. Saying that, I don't have a problem with anyone being religious. I would classify myself as atheist rather than agnostic.

I got to music festivals every chance I get. Bonnaroo Lollapalooza and Voodoo fest are regular trips for me. I'm a dog lover. Mans best friend. I'm very versatile to activities. I can either stay out till 2 am or stay at home all the time. I just like to be around people. I ask a lot of questions. I like to sleep.....wait love to sleep. I can just drive and listen to my cd's for hours.

I have nothing against drugs but I'm not pro drugs. I think drinking is overrated. I can't do drugs anymore, I have too much to risk and it's too expensive, though people who think all drug users are loser really piss me off. But I can't do that stuff anymore, I would not bother me if you did though.

You'll have to at least tolerate sports. I cry during movies...... Hell I cry during sappy tv shows like the house remolding and when people get embarassed on American Idol. Which is why I don't watch those shows anymore. I even cry when college teams get eliminated from tournaments and the athletes start crying. No shame. Look some people are afraid to be emotional, and they end up divorced or have heart attacks. That ain't me. You'll always know where i stand.

I think anything is worth discussing. I like top 10 list. I see the best in people and then end up disappointed. I like kids and old people. Kids are amazing to observe and old people are amazing to listen to. Need to know something about me. Just ask. I'm not afraid to be honest.

I write grants for a living and spend a lot of time bumming around on stupid music projects for fun. I am spending a lot of time learning to blues-fiddle. As it turns out, there are precisely two blues solos every written, and they're exactly the two that you're hearing in your head right now. This is disappointing to me, since, as a rule, I am pretty obsessive about things I dive into. Last month I was learning everything I could about exotic feathers and Steve Reich. I don't know if "obsessive" is the right word to translate onto my media tastes. Maybe repetitive? It's as if I'm scared of new things, so I tend to listen to or watch the same things over and over again.

I never really know what to say about myself in these kind of things. I grew up and continue to live in a small town in Louisiana. I plan on staying here (or at least coming back in my old age). Coming out here was pretty difficult but once I did I realized that the gay community in my area is pretty large and equally incompetent. I often feel like "we" are represented by the absolute worst. I'm the father of a wonderful 6 year old boy and I cherish every moment that I have with him. Everything I'm doing I am doing for him. I'm in school for welding and it's awesome. I get to play with molten metal. Since I'm a metal head it only fits that I work with it. One, my name is not really Rita Sue...I grew up in A-town, actually in the sticks of Alexandria. I moved to Natchitoches after highschool for NSU, moved to Baton Rouge, graduated from LSU, stayed in New Orleans a bit and came back for 6 months to get my head on straight. That was 5 years ago. My head's pretty straight now. I love my dog and balancing my checkbook. There's not much to do here so I really enjoy traveling, preferably out of state. As my screen name indicates, I really do enjoy family time. Things take on more meaning when you do them with the people you care about the most. I am an educated, well adjusted 48 y/o who simply wants to find that special someone to share life with. I enjoy the simpler things that life has to offer; for example, I would much rather be sitting in front of a campfire roasting marshmallows (especially with that someone special) than to go to a party, any day. My church family is also important to me. I am not one that believes you must be of any particular denomination or faith, and I would not impose my religious standards on anyone else. Work and the kiddos keep me VERY busy during weekdays.

I'm pretty much laid back, I enjoy my life, I have a fun job that I have been at for 14 years. My kids are my number one priority. I love to laugh especially at myself, so a great sense of humor is important. And my friends describe me as a very fun person.....

I'm much better at describing other people than myself. I'm quite reserved in many aspects, although most people that know me would describe me as romantic, sincere, and passionate. I am the father of the most incredible daughter imaginable. While being a father is my most important job�no, passion I could have or love, I'm also the office manager for a local physician. I'm also extremely interested in personality typing and theory.

I am a Christian who has many dreams, numerous aspirations and incredible plans for my future, but my main focus right now is on my daughter. I am also; however, interested in meeting like-minded individuals who have a quirky sense of humor, can be sarcastic and deeply philosophical at the same time. I also love obscure trivia. My tastes in movies and music are quite eclectic.

For the most part, I am very easy to get along with. I've been told repeatedly that I'm a good listener, and that I'm compassionate, and that I am a gentleman. I am not looking for someone to complicate my life. I am a bit out of the relationship paradigm, and I am looking for someone who has the same interests as I do, but will also complete me romantically, intellectually, and creatively.

Eh... I absolutely hate this part. I'm really not interested in being a completely open book. If you have questions, though, you may ask... I'll answer. How's that? Good? Gooooood.

i'm pretty open and understanding....a people person, you could say. i have my views, like to have fun, etc. i love stories whether on film, photo, music, etc. expression is everything (to me).

Gee whiz I hate these things! I'm an old fashioned woman..I actually like to take care of my man..someone shoot me lol. I am very new to the single life and I am trying to muddle through just like everyone else! Anything else you will have to discover for yourself!

I am a single mother of a beautiful little girl. I love to spend time with her and friends and family. I also enjoy the outdoors. I love to hunt and fish and go muddin, especially on 4wheelers.

I am just your average girl. I grew up overseas,came back here and went to college. I work at a hospital at the moment. I have amazing friends and an even better family. I love to go out and dance or stay in and watch a movie. I am very easy-going. I am a great listener who cares a lot about people. I am funny in my own way. I am a romantic and proud of it. I want everything I feel love should be and wont settle for less.

i really hate these things but ok to be up front i am fat no other way to say it if that turns you off i'm sorry if you can get past it i am great in bed (i have to be since i'm a big guy lol),i am a very caring person so i will always take care of u as a partner or friend, i am intelegent so the conversation will always be good, i love good food, books and movies anything else ask me. as you can see i am honest about who i am and i like who i am. i really respect honesty (lies really just turn me off! trust me i am a fat guy so nothing u can say will hurt my feelings, 9 times out of 10 i have already thought about what u are wanting to say, so don't lie to me saying u are sparing my feelings thnx)

Im very spontaneous, and I love to decide to go away on a whim. I want to travel so bad! I love to be around the water. Im part tom boy and part girly girl. I cant dance! Im clumsy and tend to break things. I love to sing, but sound sooooo bad!!! I love love love to laugh.

Well...I am a short, crazy (in a good way, lol), and I guess you can say hard to learn, lol. I love my Chevys...like that beautiful '09 Camaro (Wondering where she is on this site).

Anyways, I love cars. I've been doing stunts, all-types of racing and etc with cars since about 14 years old. But the biggest thing I love in life is prob. music. I play piano and guitar...or basically anything I can get my hands on, lol. I been playing piano since 8 and the guitar at 17. I really love all types of music. I can go from heavy metal to classical...rap to country. But I do lean more on the rock side.

I also love to cook. I learn culinary as a hobby, because come on....who doesn't like a great 5 star meal, lol. My main interest in that is Italian. I love my pasta.

Im tired of all these failed relationships where they always believe that they can find someone better and come back to me when they don't. I want something real. I'm not asking for marriage but it would be nice to be with someone i could trust and enjoy spending time with, who feels the same. lol I'm easy-going, honest, loving, loyal, and understanding. I like to laugh and have fun, hang out with friends, and text, alot. lol Im really honest and im always willing to listen and help out in any way that i can.
